This is my weekly email where I share thoughts or tips relating to the latest podcast episode. I’m thankful to have you reading! Enjoy!
Hello dear Mama,
Happy November 1st! We’re enjoying a mild but blustery day here in upstate New York. Once I send this off, I’ll work on the budget for the month and make some online orders.
While I don’t have everything figured out for Advent and Christmas (definitely not gifts!), it feels good to have some plans for the next couple months which will for sure be full!
I’m thankful that those plans are filled with are intentional habits and activities that will hopefully immerse in the spirit of the Nativity season. God knows what will actually happen, but having some plans gives me peace of mind.
Did you get a chance to listen “Planning for Nativity, Christmas, and Beyond?” to hear all about my process and plans? If not, here’s the link!
Family Movies
As I mentioned in the episode, here are a few of our favorite movies to watch before and after Christmas.
Christmas for a Dollar - Good for the whole family. It is a bit of a tearjerker, but in a way that makes one appreciate life and loved ones. Watch before Christmas to get everyone in the “giving” spirit.
It’s a Wonderful Life - No explanation needed!
Scrooge - Based on the book “A Christmas Carol,” we watch this version, but there are many.
The Grinch - We stick with the cartoon version.
The Ultimate Gift - Better for preteens and up, in my opinion. We haven’t watched it as a family, but I want to find time this year to watch it with my older kids.
If you have any you love, please tell me! I’m always looking for new ones to add to our list!
Printables, Printables, Printables!!!
Here they all are! Enjoy! :)
May your planning be Christ-centered!
Kh. Hannah, thank you for the printables! I will definitely use them.
